If you've made it here, you're probably an overlander, an adventure biker, or perhaps you took a wrong turn into the wilderness. The mad rush of the city is far behind you, and you know exactly how the bushveld can reset your sense of adventure.

At the end of the Biedouw Valley - on the shortcut from Tankwa Karoo to the Pakhuipas, where the Biedouw and the Doring River meet - you will find the Madwaleni Pub right next to the road in the rugged, rustic surroundings, completely off the grid.

If you're looking for spot to pitch your tent, park your overlander, or trail bike, this is a perfect waypoint to 'uitspan' for a night under the stars.

Camp near the river on our basic, wild camping areas, with the bush pub nearby for a refreshing drink.
