Off the beaten track
Jai Yen Yen offers unique seasonal experiences such as wild bush camping, overnighting in one of our unique chalets, fishing, river rafting, day picnics, refreshments in our bush pub and taking a cooling dip in the swimming pool.
It's a small oasis in the semi-desert at the junction of the Doring and Biedouw Rivers. Our generator keeps things ticking along nicely, for uninterrupted service when loadshedding kicks in.
Ideal for bikers, 4x4 enthusiasts, birders, nature lovers, and day visitors passing through the Biedouw Valley. Come and enjoy the bounty of the spectacular flower season from July to August (peak season). Spend a couple of hours. Spend a couple of nights.

WHAT ABOUT EXTREME WEATHER CONDTIONS?
The Biedouw Valley is a semi-arid desert, a pristine nature area and part of the Tankwa-Karoo. We can experience extreme weather conditions: in summer temperatures can reach over 45°C and in winterthe Biedouw and Doring Rivers can experience seasonal flooding.
We encourage you to contact us beforehand to ensure availability and route access (depending on seasonal rains and weather).
WHICH PAYMENT METHODS ARE AVAILABLE?
Guest can pay in cash (ZAR) or by debit/credit card in the bush pub.
Deposits for reservations are made via bank transfer.
